The Wind’s Decision
Abduct me
Your dimension
Where time and angels
Fly.
Where peace is
Never-ending
And the truth of Love won't die,
Or take me back
across existence
to the arms
of love's persistence
But it isn't love
what is it?
The horror we revisit.
I know not now
or shall I ever,
why the winds
insist to mellow then
Whether or not
to bring a breeze
compassion
to our skin a tease,
so cold, so tender
it shivers
it frees
and burns a hole with little ease,
but no
our time makes
room for
shine and just
enough for you
and I to taste
the rain and
watch the sky
and ponder the
wind's decision;
why?
Why bring death we
can't abate? We saw
there's room for love and
hate, and pain ain't
dead 'cause it lives
in Here (I gesture to where a heart should feel..)
your mind was open
your soul once free.
This message
received by you and me
That in an instant the
wind's can change,
the world might seem
a bit deranged
But do not fathom
or fear or hate
this is all just what
we did create. It's
us behind the skies
and times
the rain in storms
are former cries
of life that learnt
from it's mistakes
and that a-
-a soul don't move
if it don't shake.
And so we have the wind's
decision, to pierce the
heart with God's precision.
A reminder to all there's
peace and war,
And to reiterate that there's room for
more
the next
the most
the newest host
of life's own gift to
live and hope
that
no matter the weather
the sunshine or rain
we'll be together
forever again
and until forever
we dwell and roam
reminded in storm
that safety is Home.
So weather your storm.
