Always be multidimensional and understand that you can help unify and be viewed a separatist in the same light if the opinion calls for it. 

Don't see yourself as a hypocrite, just see you for you, understanding that human beings can be complex to the extent that we may contradict our own existence. All things can be worked out in time if the willingness is there.
