Every. Single. Essay. Contest.

I was rolling in scholarships.

Maybe it’s being homeschooled.

In my Junior year of high school, I won all possible awards at the annual international debate conference.

I’m used to winning everything.

But life isn’t to be won.

Just lived.

When will I figure that out?
