Playwriting’s Note

I will be rewriting the previous playwriting from 2021-2022 at TAMIU. I did it to refresh my memory and how the plays were performed on stage. I am still in-progress writing and learning what genres and themes to fit in with the characters. It is also tricky to write full-length acts well like William Shakespeare. But for now, short plays will be on here.

Playwriting is mostly on dialogues, monologues, and fewer characters on stage and performing a variety of skills. It is similar to short stories but with fewer locations throughout the act.

Basically, not the films or movies described above. It still contained comedy or tragedy.

Remember, short plays can be like 10 minutes to one hour. The format will be different, so you can take your pace reading it and imagine how the plays performed on stage.
