Lorem Ipsum

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of printing presses and text files. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a textbook specimen. Not only did it survive 500 years, but it also entered as filler text in electronic documents, remaining essentially the same as the original. It was popularized in the 1960s with the creation of Letraset sheets, which contained Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software such as Aldus PageMaker, which includes versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Why do we use it?

It is a long-established fact that a reader will be distracted by the text content of a site while looking at its design. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using text such as "Content here, content here." These texts make it seem like Spanish that can be read. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors use Lorem Ipsum as their default text, and a search for "Lorem Ipsum" will return many websites that use this text if they are in development. Many versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (for example, inserting humor and the like).
