Literary sores help to soar: A reminder
I always reminded my pupils to abandon the rules and write. It never had to make sense at all, and let's forget grammatically--or politically-correct. Even when your sharpest writing pen wants to slaughter the marks you've put down, stop. Sometimes, it's a good idea to have scratched-up drafts. So, I challenge myself to put something down with little to no thought and absolute disregard to what I know to be "good writing" every day forward. Creatures rarely are hatched with the ability to soar.
