The Reason

A simple drawing like a thousand others: striving for perfection, falling short. Stands day after day. Men and women walk past, stopping to wonder why it is here. Eventually, one asks the grey-bearded night guard. He smiles and answers: "Not for its worth, nor its quality. It is here because of the artist."
