Admiring the beauty before me

Stumbling at water's edge

She grabs me with the

Strength of a thousand men

I find myself in a torrent

Of thoughts and try to reason

With the conscious awareness I have

Working furiously to

Orientate myself and gain control

I am in her possession and

She refuses to relinquish her hold

Pulling me under as I weaken

My lungs fill, but not with the

Breath I so dearly need

Finally, I succumb to her

She carries me away

As I drift into unconsciousness.
