Walls Behind Me
It's funny that I caught myself staring blankly in the middle of nowhere- in a room where all lights are off and the silence grows as people close their eyes and visit the worlds of their subconscious. But in this silence, I heard a sound. A crying voice which tells me all the things that I need to know. I listened sharply and discovered that the magical voice came from my walls. My tears kept streaming through my face as it whispered all the things that I never wanted to hear. The walls unfolded the biggest lie that I believed in my life, and that was believing that those walls, that house, and the people inside it was the place that I can call home.
