Vision
Three blind mice see how they run, isn't that how it goes? But even with 20/20 vision sometimes we are still blind to our surroundings and how life treats us, or how we allow it to treat us. We, in essence, run around lost. Maybe we are not truly seeing as we need to but have a type of blindness that causes have an incorrect "view" of our world. As a medical condition, blindness is the lack of sight. The eyes send an image to the brain the brain registers it creating sight, a memory is formed so the next time you see it you what your reaction is going to be. When you see your mom as an infant you are comforted but what if she is not ready to be a mother and she doesn't want to be a comforter instead she leaves you to fend for yourself? If you see fire as a child you know that it is something to keep you warm or it can actually hurt and destroy your world as you know it. Or if you see a traffic signal as an adult, you know to take actions when the signal changes or is it that you are distracted and you don't see the signals change and your reaction time is slowed just a bit to allow for a terrible accident and put you in a world of hurt. When our vision is skewed we can be lost and wind up outside of our comfort zones and end up in that world of hurt. The old saying goes take off those "rose colored glasses", has anyone thought that the "rose color" is the Love that we all need? If you know real love pure love the Love of God that maybe your "vision" of your world would help the world as a whole. Sometimes you need to stop and take a look at your surroundings and the people in your world, maybe you are already in that world of hurt and don't know it. The hurt can be internal and has been there for so long that your "view" is that this is normal. Stop and take the time to sharpen your "vision" find the sight you seek...In Jesus
