Chapter 9
"Wait what!" I gasped, trying to catch up with Justin as he walked back into the house. "I'm not ready to go on a mission yet, I haven't even completed stage two! Recruits are usually given missions after stage three." I followed him to the basement and watched as he opened the wooden boxes. He grabbed a handgun and tossed it at me. I just stared at it in my hands.
"Did you hear anything I just said?!" He still ignored me. "Justin!" I smacked the gun he was currently holding out of his hand and it fell back in the box. He punched the box and glared at me, instantly making me regret what I just did.
"Do you think I would actually let you go on a mission if you weren't ready? This isn't my decision and I have no say in this so please, shutup and let me think." He went back to picking through the weaponry and I plopped down in the chair next to the boxes.
There was no way I was going to survive this. No way at all. Only people who have completed the training that is needed to go on a mission, actually go on missions. I don't have that training. My heart started racing and my right leg starting shaking. Oh no. This is not good at all. I gripped my chair and took in deep breaths, trying to calm myself down.
"I'm going to die." I muttered to myself, gripping the chair even tighter. Thoughts of the mission and what I possibly had to do floated through my mind. For example, probably killing someone. There is no way I can do that, at least not at this stage. I didn't have it in me. Then it hit me.
"I'm going to die." I realized. That's when I started panicking. "I can't do this, I can't." I muttered even louder, catching Justin's attention.
"Are you okay?" he asked me, glancing at my shaking leg. I looked up at him with wide eyes.
"I can't do this Justin." I said, shaking my head, my leg bouncing even faster. He placed the gun down and kneeled in front of me, his golden eyes confused.
"What do you mean?" he narrowed his eyes.
"I'm going to die Justin! I can't do this! I'm not prepared. What if the person is innocent? What if I have to kill someone?" Justin tried to interrupt me, but I couldn't stop panicking. "What if I accidentally kill the wrong person? I won't be able to live with myself if-,"
"Mileyna! Calm down!" Justin grabbed my face, his eyes searching mine. I didn't realize I was crying until I felt his thumb swipe my cheek, catching a teardrop. "You are not going to die. You will be fine." he reassured me, his hands sliding to the top of my neck. I wasn't convinced.
"But what if something-" He interrupted me.
"Mileyna. I will be there with you. Nothing is going to happen to you. I promise." He put his hand on my leg, stilling it. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. Knowing that he was going to be there with my reassured me and calmed me down. At least I wasn't doing it alone.
"Okay, I'm sorry for freaking out. I know you don't like it when people show signs of weakness." I muttered the ending, and looked down at my lap. He got up and grabbed my hands, pulling me up with him.
"That's not true." he grumbled, giving me the side eye. I scoffed and folded my arms across my chest.
"Uhh, yes it is."
"I'm not going to argue with you. Come, I need to make sure you're well equipped for this mission."
Here goes nothing.

"We're here. Do you remember everything you need to do?" Justin asked me, pulling up to the casino.
"Yes I do, it's pretty simple." My part of the mission was so simple I almost jumped for joy. Justin got a phone call from the head telling him what the mission was and what we needed to accomplish this mission. We were after a black circular device containing some secrets that our head really wanted. Apparently everyone was trying to get their hands on it. My part of the mission is to distract the guy who is in possession of it. His name is Walter Newton and he is a blonde, 6'3 and a lover of beautiful women. Justin had me dressed in a very sexy, very revealing white gown with a slit on the side, elongating my already long legs. Just in case anything went wrong, I had a gun strapped to my thigh, a knife in my bra and strapped to my other leg.
Justin parked and we made our way inside the casino. It was a very high end casino and everyone was dressed up. I gave Justin a once over, taking in the way his white suit hugged every inch of muscle on his body.
"Focus." Justin's deep voice invaded my not so innocent thoughts. I quickly looked away, feeling my neck heat up from the fact that he caught me checking him out.
"I am focused. No one said I couldn't admire." I muttered, eyeing my surroundings as we sat down at the bar. He just chuckled did a quick scan of the area. Once he seemed satisfied, he ordered a drink to blend in. It was very loud in the casino, the jackpot noises the loudest. There was a table in the middle of the area where men were playing poker, their women on their laps supporting them.
"Look. There he goes. Go now and please, don't mess this up." Justin sighed, giving me a look. I laughed, getting out of my chair.
"Trust me, flirting and luring in guys is something I'm good at." I smiled and placed my hands on his shoulders and leaned forward. "Maybe one day you'll get to see first hand just how great I am, hmm?" I whispered in his ear, sliding my hands down his chest. Justin grabbed my hands and place them back to my sides. He cocked his head and smirked.
"Maybe. But tonight, let me see second hand how great you actually are, hmm?" he mocked me at the end, quirking an eyebrow like he was challenging me. I straightened up and smoothed down the front of my dress.
"Oh by the time I'm finished with him, I'll have him wrapped around my pinky finger." I strutted towards Walter, who was on the other side of the casino.
