Who can we claim

to really know

when true faces

hide adeptly 

behind the masks 

that we see?

Would a colorful 

personality imagined

tally up with 

the real deal? Would those

dearest to our hearts

be quite foreign?

Would we 

be awestruck

and speechless

all of a sudden face-

to-face, or would we

know from inception

soul to soul, twins, as if

we had been together

forever?
