Life Changes.
My life had gone through many changes, all from Katrina's rain and winds. The back yard covered with tree limbs and other trash, all we had to clear out in the days after. In the house our roof had many leaks all over the house, all being caught in pots, the drops creating a simple but sad melody, one that speaks for all the other houses effected by the storm. Our house had no power for the next week or two, the heat inside was like that of a too-close fire, creating discomfort for my siblings and parents as we stayed inside. All of my family played games, all in the hopes to pass the time quicker. When most of the damage had been cleared, my family moved over to our current house, a much safer home.
