Everything or Nothing?
Reaching out, arms bared against humanity, fingers curling around anything that can be felt. Searching for joy, for something to fill the void, but it only grows. Nothing else matters, no one else matters. Lives are destroyed by the hands that take all and give nothing, by the soul that consumes everything and discards what ceases to bring happiness. When, finally, there is nothing else to grab, is that joy found? Of course not, and all that is left are the ruins of others and oneself, and the repulsive disgust when looking in the mirror at the once human, turned monster by greed.
