The Thing
Jack is a Siberian husky that lives in an overgrown cottage in Alaska with his owner Richard. Richard is a fisherman aged 72 and has no living relatives. This morning Jack woke up to the sound of screaming. Richard was lying in bed with his eyes open thrashing about and crying for help. Richard was profusely sweating and had turned red. Suddenly Richard grew silent. Jack felt Richard's hand. It was cold and had no pulse. That night Jack was sadly lying in his dog house whimpering when he saw a figure come out of the cottage. The figure waved at him and Jack jumped up ran over to the figure, eager to greet his master after his extra-long sleep. The Figure had eyes that could no longer see but still had no trouble using the bloody butcher knife to sever Jack's head off. The figure smiled and shuffled back into the cottage.
