Easter egg
Easter egg, Easter egg
you're not ready yet.
First we'll have to poke a hole
and drain out all the wet.
Easter egg, Easter egg
you're not pretty yet.
Now that you're a hollow shell
we'll dump you in the color red.
Easter egg, Easter egg
you're not useful yet.
We'll push a piece of string in you
and hang you over the bed.
Easter egg, Easter egg
you're as good as you can get
we'll throw you out and crush your shell
without even breaking a sweat.
not strong enough
"I came up to him, approaching from behind. He sat there, bent over, his fighting spirit seemed broken.
'Are you still upset about earlier?', I asked carefully.
'Fuck off', he replied, but even that sounded more half-hearted than usual.
'You don't need to be.', I said and laid my arms around his back,
'It's okay.'
He struggled. I could barely hold him back. But then he stopped, turning around to me, and I saw the immense tiredness in his eyes.
'You don't have to be strong all the time.', I whispered and buried my face in his hair.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him smile.
Black magic
candles
bones
a pentagram
scented smoke
dyed black sheets
circle of people
chanting dark pleads
"wake up, o demon
don't leave us alone
lighten the dark
to serve our needs"
magnificent screams
fluorescent eyes
a flick of it's fingers
the summoners cry
the candles go out
books are sent flying
the windows crash
wind howls inside
the demon exits the circle
walking over dead bodies
too powerful to control
he was unleashed
on our world
roaming free
to this day
we were destined to meet
we were destined to meet
I realised, as I gazed upon you
you were different from the others
you were a new face in my mind
we were destined to meet
I thought, every time you laughed
your endless joy made me smile
you were the opposite of me
we were destined to meet
I wrote, vaguely remembering your face
your voice became faint
your smile was blurred out
we were destined to meet,
I whispered,
but not destined to stay
