Write something seemingly innocent in the first glance but swirls around a facade in the bigger picture. The protagonist only sees a small part of it which could also be a clue of what is actually happening. And ends with a cliffhanger. Yup. Leave your reader hanging.

What makes you get up from your bed every morning?

Was there a time in your life when you realized you've unconsciously influenced a person because of the words you just casually said? Maybe a simple act of kindness became the start of a turning point for that person's life. Maybe a person asked you some random advice which you just answered truthfully and that helped them greatly understand their situation. How did you found out that you unknowingly influenced them? Did you gain a new perspective?

The song that evokes you to go through your memory lane over and over again. A deep memory that was engraved somewhere you couldn't ignore. Either a positive or a negative one. Write about how that song became something so deep to you years later.

"How do you find your inspiration?" @fudo randomly asked me that. (Let's thank him for giving me an idea and for making this curiosity come into light). I have to say this first, It's actually hard to find inspiration, I'm on a different kind of slump and it's seriously not going anywhere. So what kind of things inspire you? Any advice? Any habits you want to share? Cause I had my own habits, since anyone can be stuck sometimes, it just means you have to change your habits and try different ways to make things spark again. Share want you have learned through years of experience then learn something different here.

This will kinda end up as a personal challenge. Sort of. [For those who are parents: What would you like to say for your child? Your dreams for them, your expectations, has there been disappointment? Was there a time your child had done something you aren't completely okay with, and had you told them you forgive them? Which experience did you your child rebelled so much? Why do you think they rebelled? Did they ever rebelled against you? How many times did you cried for your child? Any mistakes you didn't notice up until now unless you contemplate on it? How much do you think you know them well?] [For those who were once a child and those who's not yet a parent: What are the words you couldn't tell to your parents? Did you slipped your tongue and wasn't supposed to say those words? How many times did you keep it in until your feelings burst? What do you want to show them? Has there been disappointment in your part? Have you forgiven them? How much do you understand your parents? How much do you think you know them well?] So how much of those questions and answers conveyed in real life? Both positive and negative thoughts. Here's another challenge, the personal part. If there was, and your feelings aren't properly conveyed to them, slowly and gently communicate. This challenge is just an emotional trash dumping. Dump your craps here then tell those things to them, in a good approach. However, it's your choice to follow it through the end. I'll be dumping mine too.

Ever wrote a minimalist fantasy??? I realized I've not posted my fantasy works (except one) on the site because I tried to make it minimal. You know, like less magical descriptive words but still retained a sense of fantasy in it. So I dare you to write one cause I couldn't...for now lol. [[For the world building hmmm... Low fantasy or Urban fantasy will do. Maybe something that has to do with a mysterious lake and what miracle and cursed things it does, and a flower, an alive conscious flower, a rarely seen one with an ability to disguise itself and maybe another hidden ability. It's prominent features were being red and it can pull it's own roots so they can move freely on land but they only stay were there are a lot of overgrown vegetation. It will start with a village's annual feast for commemorating their self-proclaimed guardian deity—the so called 'flower', and the main character would be the new head priest who will preside over the feast—but has a secret. The story itself will only revolve around the village and the forest that surrounds it. (Kinda influenced by an eastern fantasy theme)]] I feel like I made it harder when I started adding details but I'll try posting this anyway XD. You can just choose one of what I've mentioned if it's too much for the minimalistic theme though. I'll slowly read your works if you guys decided to make an entry. XDD

I rarely had a dream now. If I had one, it would usually be mysteriously chaotic and nerve-wrecking, though I'll forget it afterwards. When was the last time you had one? Can you still remember it? How was it? What did you dream about?

You were lost in a forest, plants became denser and denser the more you walk, and the more you tried to find some path, the more it looked like a labyrinth. Then you saw a tattred sign. "Up ahead, twenty steps from here is two choices" With the only clue you have, you followed the sign and started counting. You realized the two choices were two roads. Left and Right. What kind of path does the two roads have? What lies beyond the two roads? Does one of the road leads to an exit?

I saw a draft of mine from a challenge I created to make my friend—who was more of a full blooded writer than I am, write. So I decided, why not also share that random challenge I made up out of boredom a year ago. I'll give a word, and from that word you create a story, maybe a poetry, any format i suppose. Please keep in mind that what you will write will be revolving around the word given. Consider it as a theme. It was actually just to stimulate those little universe we have. The word: Abditory [n.] a hiding place, a place into which you can disappear, a concealed location used for storage or to hide item. (PS. I might continue this kind of challenge if the reader in me decides to discover beautiful interesting words again lol)

Picture yourself in a four cornered room with a single window that has enough space for a single bed, a cabinet, a couch, and a table. It is either in all black or in all white. Now tell me how will you fill up that room; What kind of things will you hide in there? What kind of emotions were you feeling while thinking about the things you wanted to do inside the room? What kind of room will it be? What kind of view will you see beyond the window? And if you were given a choice to either stay inside that room forever and to never get out or to leave that room you worked hard to fill it in with the things the way you want, and never go back inside again. What will you choose? Write in a way that is comfortable to you, It could be a negative or a positive thought. This could be a reflection to the things you like or maybe to the things you hate.
