A grandfather clock in an old house chimes 12 times every night at 3am. Just that clock, and only at 3am. Why? How is this strange phenomenon discovered? How long has this been going on? What caused it? Is there a way to fix it? SHOULD it be fixed? Why or why not? I've had this clock idea in my head for a while, but I can't decide what to do with it.
