Who am i?

And where do i come from?

Is there a purpose?

Or is it just a life to run along?

I often ask myself these question.

And i am sure that so often would you,

But every time i ponder upon,

I come up with something new.

I have a lot of dreams and desires.

Cause they always say,

that one should dream big.

But how does one fulfil these?

The mere thought of defeat makes me sick.

I have learnt one thing along the way,

Don’t pay attention to what others say.

They would try to take your light away from sight,

But you have to remember to always shine bright.

The hurdles won’t be easy to cross,

But then, you have nothing at loss.

Put at front all that you have got,

It doesn’t hurt to give it one good shot.

The journey is not going to be easy,

But be rest assured that it would be bright and pleasing.

I beg you,

Don’t you settle for less.

You have been embraced,

With a beautiful life.

So make use of what you have,

To turn it into meaningful and wise.

This is the moment to live what you wish for.

There is no tomorrow, but only today.

So gather yourself and don’t stop to soar,

In search for a beautiful tomorrow, and today.

Staring at the blank page she thinks,

That this is all she ever wanted.

A new start, a new life, a new phase of a new kind.

A place where everything would fall into place.

In a single blink.

But things don’t come easy, do they?

Wrapped and decorated in different colours.

Smiling it’s gleeful smile

Conning the world’s worst nightmares,

It sings you to a comforting lullaby.

But, you need to wake up girl,

Get out of this disguise.

Cause this is not what you came for,

It is not a surprise.

It is the death of your desires,

The ones you have been building for long.

So, wake up and see around,

At the new opportunities that beacon.

Don’t lose your hope just now,

Cause this is just the beginning.

Don’t worry of your worst nightmares,

But look up to a life full of joyful singing.
