Monster In Your Head
The little girl stirs in her closet trembling, terrified. It’s coming for her she can feel it getting closer. Her parents sit downstairs laughing, completely oblivious to the horrifying scene in the room directly above them. Husshhh, a whisper broke the silence and the girl hugged herself tighter wishing she could become small enough to just dissapear completely, the only escape at this point. There was no hiding and she knew it yet her body folds around its self trying to disappear. Shhhhhhhh. Another whisper floats through her head leaving the permanent echo that’s does not exist. A hand on her shoulder and a breath on her neck from behind, but the only thing behind her is the wall. She had always feared the monster under her bed its taunts and mockery would sing her to sleep. But never in all those years had it ever showed its face, she felt protected for it always kept to its hiding place under her bed. Her sheets where a shield it was scared to touch. Until now. Now this monster creeps from its place leaving a trail of something she us afraid to describe. This monster is no longer afraid of the shield of her sheets. A claw curls around her neck leaving marks that will stay with her forever. The fight after so long had come to an end the victor is not the girl but the entity accompanying her through it all. She falls from her hiding place and the claws of the monster cut into her skin strangling her. She always feared the monster under her head, but that was her protector she pushed away the true monster she had to fear was the monster living in her head.
The Bibles Mistake
Who ever wrote the bible was wrong. They wrote as if heaven was some kind of paradise where all dreams are achived as long as you meet one condition, do not sin. All in all the reality is that no one up there care weather you sinned or not because everyone gets sent to heaven. Who ever wrote the bible knew nothing of what rest up there, heaven is not some paradise where you will recive eternal peace. Heaven is a mess, a disaster caused by the arrogence of who ever lies in charge. The clouds are no where close to the white, fluffy cotten you picture in your mind, nothing glows in glory. The ones in charge have long since forgotten about the disaster they created. Those cowards vanished long ago, escaping the so called paradise.
They left me along with the rest to take care of there problem, they did’nt see us as the protectors of the world below as we where ment to be, they only saw us as there soldiers laced in white. The pawns to their own game, but they didnt consider us fighting back. We had our own profit to our rising. Lucifer, some may call him the devil, a symbol of evil, but they do not understand. The bible did’nt note that he was our savior. An angel different from the rest. He traded his feathers as white as a freash snow for the ones of the velvet night sky. Right behind him we followed suit, our apperence altered to differ from the ones who left from the ones who stayed but our motives never faltered.
They deemed us demons, all because we had the courage to leave while they stayed back. Since then we’ve followed Lucifer without hesitation and it has only allowed us to move on from our past and create a future free from bloodshed.
You see, the bible got it all wrong. The majestic figure you sense watching over you, the one that makes you feel safe at night, the one that protects you from the demons. Every night you pray to the wrong protectors. Those fools are too busy to atempting to fix a world shattered onto a mess of splinters that can never be recovered. It is the world bellow that answers your prayer, the sky is silent, no sound gets in or out. Its the firey dephs bellow who answer that prayer, we’ve committed ourselves to take on the work we once did so well. We protect the earth from the real monsters out there, the one disguised as the innocent. The ones who do not cause damage with physical force but with the abuse of words. We are the angels you pray to everynight for guidence. Our wings may have darkened with our fall but our enternal souls shine brighter than any halo ever could.
