Heaven flinches
Heaven flinches as Hell crashes Into me
With a heavy sigh.
Stricken are we,
Lost am I and the streets of my heart are flooding
With pain,
Pools of lies glisten in vain as,
My hot wet tears turn to rain and put out your scorching flame.
The light for which you lust fades now,
Flickers twice then does down.
Fire
Nevermind, forget what I said, you didn't listen anyway; never heard a thing I said,
Screaming and yelling, my voice like a fire; from the Dragons fierce belly, meant to catch you on fire.
Stabbing right through you, fire's flame's piercing hot; word's meant to be torched like the watcher's eye's watching us.
Lessons to be learned, fire meant to be hot; spinning and whirling lessons taught learned are tough.
Beating and pounding, my heart's like a drum; pop, pop, bang, bang, pound, pound, pop, strum.
Fire whirling from wind, water puts out small fire; your presence, your essence is what I desire.
Stop and just listen to what I won't say; fire under your feet makes you run even farther.
Looking, searching, through flames twisting fire; whats left is the ashes from our love, hot on fire.
Residency of Life
The ice turns to ashes, frozen in time of it's destiny.
What will be will be, that's not an uncertainty, most definitely knowing what shouldn't be.
My eyes do not lie, I see what you see,
When I look past the present in front of me.
Beginning to become the darkness that's inside of me,
You find me, like destiny,
Defines me just like the darkness, blackness unbinds me.
In perfect rhythm and step along beside me, it defines me
What I'll never be,
I'll kindly say thank you, you'll welcome me.
I won't come gracefully, quietly perhaps, most certainly,
Uncertainly glance back to see if you see, open your eyes and look at me.
This is the way it will probably be,
Tomorrow, today, an entity,
But what is this life meant to be,
Just a permanent part, call it residency.
