Searching my memories, I can vaguely remember starting to write around 9. In the beginning, it was more or less just something to pass time. It filled the void of boredom that often plagued my life. However, as I progressed through life I went through some extremely traumatic incidents. One after another, things kept getting worse. Without a proper support system, I felt alone and was constantly frustrated with my failed attempts at coping with what had happened. That was until I began writing out whatever came to mind. I've been doing so ever since. It gives me a sense of peace and allows me to get out the thoughts that circle my head in the depths of depression. As I continue to write out my emotions, my ultimate goal is to have a collection that showcases the healing process that I can share with the world. Though it has some ugly sides as well as controversial and downright unpleasant subjects, so does life. I want to show the ups and downs of coping, and how it is possible to get past whatever obstacles you hit in life.
