Happiness be smol but grait
Happiness is conjured by the little things that gather into moments. Those little things, for me, are often in the forms of food and words.
Food is one of the highest natural pleasures... along with one I’m not going to specifically mention (;
I like to cook food, eat food, serve food, think about food, talk about food and write about food. I. Like. Food. Nothing more to it.
Words are almost my literal best friend... we even have the occasional fights. I like to write. I like to think. I like to talk. I like to hear myself talk(funny thing is I don’t like my voice). I like to sing(I dropped out of choir 2 years ago. I do not regret.) I do not like word games though(partly because I’m terrible at them).
And when you talk or listen to audiobooks while making food, or eat food when you’re supposed to be talking, that my friends, is the reason my parents think I am antisocial.

What is it
This thing they call happiness?
Is it the laughter

Is it the smile cracked
After a friendly word?
Is it the giggle
At somebody else's amusing plight?
What is happiness?
Sure, it's a state of being
A state of being happy
But, how can you be happy?
The recipe is really simple
There is not much to it
Some may admit

Happiness is that feeling
That warm feeling inside
When you have a smile on your face
That smile you just can't hide
It's happiness when you sing a tune
Without even understanding why
It's happiness when you take a run
For sheer pleasure, no other reason why
It's happiness when you are content
With what you have and deserve
It's happiness when you sing along
To life's tune and every word
When you sing along without contempt
Just feeling blessed to be alive
Realizing that you are special
And that there is no need to hide
It's happiness
When you are blessed
With family
And true friends
It's happiness when
You can't complain
Because no matter the struggles
You still have a huge gain
A huge gain in reasons for smiling
A huge gain in reasons for not crying
Reasons for laughing out loud
Reasons for living, making such a big and lively sound
It's when you are a blessing
To those people around you
That you feel that happiness
In your heart; let it be to astound you
Look for reasons to be helpful
To be a blessing and not a curse

Halloween Special: Cursed Games

For no reason in particular, here are some haunted cursed games that I found interesting and how they work. DO NOT try this at home, unless of course, you want to put your life in danger.
1. The Elevator Game
This is probably the most spooky one. The Elevator Game is a popular game in which the player tries to transport him or herself to another dimension. Here's how it works:
The player presses buttons in a specific order that will send them to another dimension. People have reported seeing a mysterious woman enter the elevator at one point, and if you step out on the wrong dimension, you will die.

The scary part of this game, is that one of the creepiest unsolved mysteries is connected to it...
The body of Elisa Lam, a Canadian student at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, was recovered from a water tank atop the Cecil Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles on February 19, 2013. There were no marks of trauma, assault or even suicide. She had been reported missing at the beginning of the month.
There was the latest footage of her before she went missing, which have left detectives speechless....
She entered an elevator, and pressed the buttons in a strange order, and kept looking outside. For a whole 3 minutes, the doors did not close, and she seemed to be talking to an invisible person.

2. Red Door Yellow Door
This is probably the safest game as it doesn't involve ghosts, just the consciousness of your mind, and it usually works. You need at least 2 people, and others can sit and watch. The guide massages the player's temples and chants to make them slip into a trance.
Once the player is in their mind, the guide will ask them questions, which they will answer. There will be many coloured doors and stairs, and the guide makes the decision if the player can enter one.
Some rooms just have random objects, but others may have a memory you didn't know about, or you may even see your mother who passed away when you were young. However, there are some twists;
If the player sees mirrors or clocks, the guide has to wake them up. Seeing a white shirted man, or even a dog or bear is also dangerous.
If you get killed in the game, it will be hard for you to wake up from the trance. You may find yourself being conscious but unable to open your eyes. For more info check out :

3. The Answer Man
This game involves a group of friends, preferably 10, with their phones. The timing must be accurate here to make it work. Each person will be in a circle, and call the person on their right at the same time.
Typically, all the phones will switch to voicemail, but one person's phone will be picked up by the 'Answer Man'. Only the person who got their phone answered can talk to him. You can ask him anything, even lottery winning numbers, and he will answer you correctly, however, he will ask you a (usually simple) question in return.
You must answer honestly or you will lose one of your limbs in an accident. Try not to ask him another question, even if he bribes you, as his return question will be something you cannot answer at all.

4. Baby Blue
This game is probably the most pointless one, but it is scary. You stand in front of a mirror and cradle your arms as if you are holding a baby. Then, you chant "Baby blue, blue baby" 13 times.
You will feel a weight on your arms, which is the baby. This is when things get messed up; you immediately have to open your toilet bowl and flush the 'baby', because almost immediately, the baby's mother will appear in the mirror. She is believed to be Bloody Mary.
The mother will scream for you to return her baby, and she can come out of the mirror and hurt you, so it's best to flush the baby fast.

5. Wall Knock Ghost
This game is a Japanese horror game which involves communicating with spirits. There is a belief that in every room, there is a spirit hidden in it.
As you knock the walls around a room, there will be a spot where the wall is hollow. This is where a trapped spirit is in. You can write some answers on a paper, or even place objects on the ground.
Next, hold a pencil, with the tip facing the wall. As you ask the question and drop the pencil, it should fall on the answer.

I wear my heart on my sleeve, so to speak. I want a life where my deep feelings for others helps them with their struggles, makes them in turn lead their lives with feeling.
I want people to feel good about themselves and their lives.
Above all, I feel the need to give back to my community. For the help I have received.
There is nothing to give but gratitude.
And maybe I can help someone discover this themselves.
At First All I Heard Was Silence
One quote has recently run circles in my head:
“Don’t be scared to walk alone, don’t be scared to like it”
The longer it stays in my mind, the deeper its tracks ingrain in my memory.
Long ago, my inner compass was silent. At times I was told what I felt even when I didn’t agree. It left me confused with no words to explain what I needed, what I thought, or who I was. My emotions jumbled, screamed, and cried without ever reaching the surface. I wrote vigorously as my last attempt to understand the explosion trapped inside, placing words with feelings until something felt right.
No one could help me until I gave some sign that something was wrong, only I didn’t know what was wrong and got confused figuring out if there was something wrong at all. Writing was my way out, allowing for journals and journals of incoherent, disorganized trains of thought. The earliest journals were too painful to keep but dozens still lay in a pile on my shelf.
I have not evolved yet to speak, but I have evolved to allow for expression in writing. It is how the truth inside me shines past all the barriers, for when I write, I can stay silent. Writing was, and continues to be, my balancing act so I never thought about it as a career.
Published authors need to write for others, all I do is write for myself. I try imagining characters, but none come up because all I understand is my own experience. My descriptions flow best when I use the second person (you) or write a letter in first person (I): the two most looked down upon formats in my formal schooling.
I have many other interests. I see physics as the real magic adults once said wasn’t real, and love the environment from witnessing it through travel. I came into college working towards a physics major (still on that path). However, at this very moment, 1:52am, on Saturday May 9th, I know nothing would suit me more than to set my stories free.
I want my career to be, being me: the author that, though unconventional, emerged naturally.
I feel words rather than hear them and believe that amazement lies in the everyday world. Stories that appear from thoughts outside society’s built in conventions have the chance to soar with and beyond imagination. Based on today, I am a writer, I am ready to share my heart with those who are willing to listen.

When you're 16 everyone starts asking you ' what are going to do after school?' After that milestone it's 'what college will you attend?' Don't even get me started on the blind date or bioligic clock references. Ask if we don't know we're single and getting older. Ive thought about this a lot. And I've concluded what I want is simply.
I want to have a family.
I want to be a wife. Maybe not a love story as grand as Elizabeth Bennett but something unique and original would be nice. You know the look on a mans face when he sees his wife in her wedding dress for the first time? I want that.
Families means children and I think I would be ok with one, or maybe two. Babies with their soft skin and chubby fingers; toddlers screaming and throwing tantrums. And of course, teen's. I think I would regret not choosing my family as my career. Career can flunctuate based on the state of the world. I think I'd rather a career that I can control.

Theatre Designer and Fabricator/FX
Stage acting is so dynamic and full of excitement from the beginnng of production past closing night. I'm not comfortable to perform myself, but I have so much creativity and story-telling that I'd love to design sets and build them. I'd have to get really creative artistically, even more creative with budget, and the stress of time and performance would keep me on my toes. Production after production, always moving forward, always creating, always entertaining, evolving, that would be the life.
