I love to write scary stories, and I get most of my inspiration from nightmares.
Brain Things
Challenge:
Share some of your brainstorming notes. Describe your brain.
Prompt:
The human mind is a fascinating meat-blob of atoms and electricity. I continue to be awestruck by the mind-boggling <-----(punny)-- differences between my brain and everyone else's. Tell me how your brain works. Describe your thoughts, thought-process, inner monologue, the little voice inside your head, conscience, misfiring synapses, ect.. What do you "see" in your mind? Do you visualize your thoughts like movies, sounds, words, numbers? How does one thought lead to the next, and how did you even imagine your first thought? Share some of the notes you've taken for your creative projects. Give us a glimpse of your brainstorming moments.
Format:
This challenge is very patched together, so anything goes. Interpret and post at will. Tag me :)

Nightmare Disease
The only dreams I can remember are nightmares. I started writing them down in my twenties and now I collect the nightmares of other people as well. Tell me your scariest nightmare. However you want. Give me goosebumps. Give me nightmares.
