A Trucker’s Daze
The witching hour comes.
It time for wheels to turn.
And miles to burn.
Tulsa to Columbus.
The road sings.
As the world goes by.
Scanning for tunes.
While the highway flows.
Columbus to Laredo.
Missed birthdays.
Wheels turn.
Lonley holidays.
Miles burn.
A wife's tears.
Laredo to Chino.
Freight to move.
Coast to coast.
Pay to earn.
Its time for wheels to turn.
And miles to burn.
Chino To Lehigh.
Twenty years go by.
And still all alone.
Genovians
A short time in the future. In a galaxy very very near. There was a tribal people. Ten feet tall and very thin. Somewhat peaceful people, there was the occasional muder. They did not know war.
One day the sky opened with a loud thundering boom. Sky gods came to them in large metal birds. As they landed the birds opened. The sky gods came to the people. The lead sky god said to his followers “Arggghh mateys. get the loot and take slaves”.
The people knew much suffering and torment. Sky gods made the people dig into the mountains for its rock. Many of the people got sick and died. The sky opened with a loud thundering boom. Leader of the people said”great just what we need more sky gods”.
The new sky god started destroying the olds sky gods. With lighting from the nose of the metal bird. The birds of old sky gods blew up. He descended in lighting and smoke. As he exited his bird he shot lighting form his hand killing the old sky gods. With the old sky gods dead he went back to his bird. before entering he looked at the people blew smoke from his fingers and said”Boomshackalacka”. The people new peace once more.
100 years later in spot of the sky god battle stood a large golden structure. Inside the people gathered kneeling hands clasped praying. The oldest of the people dressed in silver robes waving a censer back and forth among the kneeling people chanting”Boomshackalacka.”

Discombobulated
I have a very vivid imagination. When i get an idea for a story i can see it. No really like a movie playing in my mind. If i let my brain go it just seems to fuel the movie. At some point i have to reign it in. Otherwise i get a confused discombobulated mess. The problem comes with putting it on paper. It seems my body and brain do not always work well together.
