Muses and Musings
I've won some - actually more than I probably realize, because it took me months to realize that when the little emblem turns blue it means your post won and I always seem to miss the original notification? But I don't actually participate in them to win. I just like them because they inspire me to keep writing things. Like little muses. I've never won any prizes either, but sometimes I skip those ones because I don't want to deal with the anxiety of winning something (yeah, stupid, I know).
*As I type this it occurs to me this is a horrible, self-centered person kind of statement, and I apologize to all the users whose Challenges I've won and didn't acknowledge gratefully -_-; I should work harder at that....
Dream Big
"I personally don’t like being an adult. Being an adult comes at a price. You are now faced with a reality which kind of pressures you to chase after stability and security so they become your new dream. That’s why I don’t consider myself or rather don’t want to consider myself as an adult. Sure, my age will define as an adult but I want to be a teenage-adult who is still chasing after his dream. I wish you can be like that too. Stay innocent, be naive. But still dream big. Dream big to the point that it is beyond your ability and endeavor to achieve it. So dream big and don’t lose your innocence."
Don't ever let someone tell you that your dreams are unrealistic. Don't get discouraged by the fact that your biggest dreams will always be out of your reach or that someone else has achieved more than you. Some dreams were never meant to become a reality, but when we chase them, we discover new and more beautiful realities we wouldn't have found otherwise.
It has been widely reported in the newspapers that a so-called puppet of the queen mother would appear on this week's programme.
To the press, the public and the many members of parliament who have so kindly rung in to complain, we would like to admit that this was an outrageous and contemptible untruth perpetrated by us, to bring us into line with current government policy guidelines.
Spitting Image have never made such a puppet and were on holiday at the time it wasn't made.
Thank you.
(Queen mum puppet walks across the screen. "What a pity, and I was so looking forward to it.")
{{{ Just a phrasE }}}
“Sir, I want to be a writer,” said one boy
“All right, then get ready for the critical stones!” said the editor
“But I want to be a real writer!” said the boy
″... get out from my room! Let’s talk tomorrow ...” the editor cried
The boy didn’t come again ... ”

My Favorite One
“So no matter how scary things get, give ’em a smile, as if to say, “I’m a-ok”. The people in this world who can smile are always the strongest.”
This quote was said by one hero to another. People feel scared when pushed into a corner. It is at those moments when you should smile. You should say “I’m fine”. People who have the power to smile in a situation where others tend to panic are the strongest out of everyone in the world.
*Slaps negativity out of people’s heads*
Your world will only stop crumbling when you decide to stop punching it.
-Evelyn Dawn
Now, to explain it. This quote shows that the reason our life is crumbling is because we make everything out to be negative, and/or we do incredibaly reggratable things. We have to be kind to the world for the world to be kind to us.
Things I can never know
“I am gone quite mad with the knowledge of accepting the overwhelming number of things I can never know, places I can never go, and people I can never be.”
- Sylvia Plath
I love this quote because it speaks to a huge fear of mine; I don’t want to run out of time to accomplish my aspirations. So, I love how this perfectly sums up my thoughts into one sentence where I can articulate how I feel.
