⊊⊋ GASLIGHT
Gaslight, flickering in the night,
A source of warmth, a beacon bright.
But in its glow, shadows play,
Distorting truth in a dangerous way.
The lies begin to twist and turn,
A flame that makes us all burn.
Doubt creeps in, our minds confused,
As reality is constantly abused.
Gaslight, oh how it blinds,
The truth becomes so hard to find.
But hold on tight to what you know,
And soon the lies will lose their glow.
⊊⊋ OUT OF FOCUS
As I peer through my camera lens, I am met with a world that is both familiar and strange. The once crisp and clear image before me has dissolved into a blur, the details that once stood out now melting into each other.
It's as if the world is playing a trick on me, teasing me with glimpses of what lies beyond the haze, only to snatch it away again. Yet, in this state of out-of-focus confusion, there is a certain allure to be found.
The soft edges and muted colors create an ethereal atmosphere, as if I am peering into a dream world that is just beyond my grasp. The lack of definition allows my mind to wander, imagining what could be just out of frame, or what the world might look like from a different perspective.
It's a reminder that sometimes, the most interesting things can be found in the unknown, in the spaces between clarity and confusion. And in this moment, I find myself embracing the beauty of the out of focus, letting my mind wander and my imagination take flight.
