A Symphony of Sounds
A chirp of a bird, in harmony with laughing and screaming of children, playing a game of make-believe, echoes through the crisp air, creating a symphony of sounds. A breeze ruffles the flowers planted firmly in the flower bed by a mother's loving hands. The tall redwoods enclose the field the children played within, acting as protectors. God chuckles from his throne, gazing down at the joy, remembering with disdain the bleak days that like newspapers with terrible news created a black-and-white world. He watched the hub of adults leaving work every day, aimlessly pursuing life with the same lackluster and apathetic attitude daily. Thus, he decided to create innocent children, who beleive in magic and the possibility of anything, with their youthful energy. He created the fresh air by planting trees to emit Oxygen, to allow children to run about and grow strong and healthy. The flowers added a spark of color and beauty, something for the children to feast their eyes upon and understand that life can be as full as the joy the flowers broughtt to them. Yes, I made the correct decision, God thought, satisfied with his work, as he observed the children playing with wands made out of sticks and spend hours watching the progress of a snail weave its way through a field. He sat back on his throne and smiled, his face awash with a shimmer of happiness and joy. Children and nature had saved the earth from becoming stale, like an old piece of bread. Joy. @JessieEngel
