Chernobyl in California
Don’t breathe.
Don’t touch.
Don’t move too much.
Sit still,
don’t mind,
halting mankind.
Don’t look.
Don’t talk.
Be careful where you walk.
Don’t you know?
Can’t you see?
Don’t fucking contaminate me.
Keep your distance.
Shut it down.
Close the god damn town.
Be proactive,
not reactive,
the mother fucking air is radioactive.
Last Night
Last night I looked into the eyes of the woman I love and heard her cries.
As her tears welled they condensed on my heart
And just like watching a window pane, they streamed down my heart like rain.
Who is this woman and why does she cry?
My love, you never cease to puzzle and mystify.
But even if her tears, the ones that erode my heart, keep falling
My heart will keep calling
Out to her, the damage is done.
Looking at her now,
I have no where to run except straight into the storm
To find her among the ruins she's formed.
My heart bleeds her tears
And I can only love her.
