mischief maker

 i enter a tea shop, i swear i want nothing but a hot cup of tea.

i go to the counter to give my order, but the lady looks gloomy.

she looks at me suspiciously, like she knows i am up to no good.

i swear am well behaved, except a few times i feel like doing something naughty.

i gaze at her, and i get this feeling to make a plank at her.

"lady , how much is a cup of tea?' i ask.

she looks at me, i swear she wants to murder me.

" a thousand shillings" she replies.

"what about sugar, lady" i ask again.

"for goodness' sake! sugar is free of course!" she is practically shouting.

innocently i ask ,"then can i have two kilograms of sugar please?"

she bends down to pick something. i don't wait to see what it is.

seeing stars.

i thought i had seen all the stars that there were to see.

i was wrong.

the day i really saw stars,

was a day i went to a bar with a fried.

it was day time and no hint of anything like a star in the sky.

my friend loves his bottle very much, and it was not wrong when he tongue got loose.

someone decided to shut him up, i went to intervene.

a strong punch hit my jaw,

and the hall sky exploded into brilliant stars of every colour and size.

on that day , i truly saw what stars look like!

Couldn't believe it had happened,

The room, once bright and cheerly ,

Now looked break and forlon, 

The music that used to sooth my mind,

Was now bland and tasteless, 

Why? Why? Why?

Cause my world has shattered!

It has come to an end!

No more dreaming, no more inspirations ,

Nothing to look forward to anymore!

So you can imagine my surprise,

When I opened the door and stumbled outside the house,

Only to find the same sun shining like always,

People moving up and about ,

Just like nothing happened!

Wet Tuesday

my soul stirs, my body shivers,

the earth is heavy with scent,

and riots all nostalgic longings inside,

makes me fill like i am missing something,

but however much i try to,

i can not pinpoint it,

for the life of me.

lightning lights the night and the earth groans under my feet

strong winds pushes me but i draw closer

foe the i can see the electric blue eyes of my enemy

and feel her wrath as she hammers mercilessly on my defenses

she carries with her the the storm, for she is its queen

but i have all the suns power for i am its prince

she manages to push me down on my knees

with her massive power

but in one desperate act i manage to kick her away

and i wake up in my bed, my blanket kicked to the floor
