Wizard
I was working on a creation spell on the top level of my tower when I heard a resounding knock on my door. I used a see through-spell and looked down to where the person should be. Three knights! Knights are always bothering me! I wasn’t a very talented, so my spells weren’t that good. I managed to defend myself from knights before, but these were royal guards. I heard a big thud and then a following louder one. They’re in. I had some magical traps throughout my tower. I heard screaming. I guess they set off the illusion. There are multiple levels of traps in a wizard tower. Illusions and ones meant to scare. Regular traps that hurt. Regular but deadly traps. Then deadly magical traps. If you pass all those, there is usually a mythical monster. Only one knight has ever got to a wizard in a tower. Both him and the wizard disappeared. People might wonder why I’m scared of knights. Well, think of spells as swords. You have to regain stamina, have skill, and people can usually see it or hear it coming. Also, regular people can deflect spells sometimes. Lets get back to the knights. They were in the second level of traps. As they were disarming one, I cast a clumsy spell. I heard a muffled scream and smiled. He messed up. You may think I’m cruel, but I’m just surviving. I don’t cast spells on people who mind their business. I do some spells but c’mon! They’re pretty much harmless. The knights were on the last trap of the second level. If they triggered this trap it would hurt a lot. They disarmed it quickly. No more warnings. They weren’t coming out. One of them was writing something. I used a burning spell. The knight jumped back in surprise. Although they were scared, they had a job to do. They continued. Unfortunately for the middle knight, he triggered a trap, but they had enough time to run. The middle knight was hurt, but still could walk. On the third death trap, the middle man got hit by a trap. He fell to his knees and looked at the wound. Then he keeled over onto his face. Two more knights. Soon after, they were on the magic traps. I cast a few spells myself. As they finished those, I saw one knight coming up the stairs. He was going to walk directly into the beast’s lair! I watched excitedly. All the knight had to do was take one more step, but the knight stopped. I was about to cast a spell, but I felt something hot in the middle of my chest. The knight rushed up the steps to me, the definition of rage. I trie to cast a spell. Then another. I couldn’t cast any spells! A wizard was messing with my magic! The knight hefted the sword over his shoulder. He stared at me. His eyes hardened. Before the knight could kill me, I felt a spell hit me. And then I saw, no, felt darkness. I knew which wizard had done this. But why?
I had been in darkness for a long time when I woke up. Somebody was knocking at my door. “Not again,” I thought glumly. I walked to the door. This didn’t look like my tower. I opened the door and saw a knight. “You are a wizard, correct?” He asked. “Yes,” I responded. “We need your help to stop an evil wizard...”
The Stumble
Irene was so shocked by the kiss that she almost forgot what she was supposed to be doing. She had nothing but bad feelings towards Violet, which was why she was excited to go head to head with her. The class had watched as the two stepped in the ring. It went normal at first. Pig spell, fire spell, frog spell (she had only had time to cram animal spells and the basics). She dodged a glitter grenade and went on the defensive as Violet moved around the ring with her. The dodged and weaved and shot blank after blank. Finally, the two had unwittingly closed in on each other.
Irene had never seen her opponent up close. Violet was no supermodel, but she was still breath-taking. Irene had always had a thing for average people though (Rodney was a testimate to that), so seeing Violet so close mesmerized her enough for Violet to have the opportunity to kick the wand from Irene's hand. Irene's hand went up in surrender, then Violet moved in. It wasn't either of their first kiss, but one would think that the two had had a secret crush on each other since elemantary classes. The class had gasped. Irene opened her eyes to see a devious look on Violet's face.
"Never let your guard down, sweetheart," Violet whispered softly.
Poof!
