Cause to be formidable

The path of least resistance is the easiest for all.

But orders handed down can go awry.

Those bosses, oh, so human, aren't always so well informed.

It's then we underlings can't shy away.

I followed what was bidden though I hadn't seen it through.

The days and weeks thereafter caused a stir.

I realized my error, and I raised my righteous head

by sticking up for Freedom of the Speech.

I fought the metaphoric fight worth putting to the test.

The Constitution is a welcome friend.

By advocating bravely, the decision was reversed.

The view of jurisprudence took my side.

A page was reinstated in a book for all to read.

The library was happy once again.

Now I will never be ignored again.
