I’m a G.I. Nation (or, I’m Agin’ A T[i]on)
Dashing looks, perfect hair, flawless judge of character, impeccable cookery skills, elite equestrian, generous lover, brave to the point of foolhardy, award winning ice fisher, exquisite tap dancer, renowned DJ, confidante to the stars.
I think all the above proves my best attribute is...
...imagination.
It’s hard to choose
I can't choose one attriute, for that would be contrary to my personality. I'm complicated, made up of so many different things that I couldn't possibly choose one. So I will give a few...
Love
I'm loving, kind and caring. I take care of the naigborhood kids, watching them even though I wasn't asked. I I love people in general. It doesn't matter who they are, you just have to help them.
Extravert
I'm always available for conversation, it really isn't too hard. I like ot talk to people. I like to tell stories. I listen to them as well. I'm unafriad of walking up to someone and starting a conversation.
Hospitaliy
I am very hospitible. I make sure that everyone has food, water, and invite people over for things. I learned to take care of others, and so I do.
About Optimism
In school, I was known for my optimism, and I would say that as my best attribute. Looking back, I attribute this to the loving family I was born into, and I am very, very, grateful for that.
Optimism helped me, especially in this time of pandemic. It helped me to keep being happy all through the months of staying at home, and I did so many things because of that. Toy cars, drawings, and all sorts of things! I wouldn't want to say that I never felt sad during these hard times, but through my optimism, those feelings of sadness hit me way less.
Optimism helped me in my online classes. It helped me to look forward to another day, and another week, even though I was saddened by all the late nights I've been into. I never slept way past midnight before, especially on consecutive days, weeks, or even months. Yes, it's been months since I have been sleeping late, but through my optimism, I still have that hope of living those days I could sleep early.
Now that the first school year I experienced online is almost coming to a close, I would like to see those days I would do the things I liked, spend more time with my family, and most of all, sleep early. And I am very, very, grateful for my optimism that I was able to survive, and still survive, all the chaos that had happened since the pandemic started.
Handed a Gun and little else
"Under my thumb" Twiddling the opposable hammers on my finger guns.
Two high noon goons sweating it out under a relentless nearly unbearable sun.
I bet you thought this would be more fun.
"Click" The clock tics. Talking.
Assuring me this will be over in a blink.
Once big nickel comes knocking. "Bang bang"
The hot leads out stalking.
For the bad man hulking.
Really a sad man sulking.
Red in the cheeks. He’s been embarrassed for weeks since a public display of affection.
Wasn’t returned but rather a very nonchalant rejection was all his extravagant gimmicky costly "would you go out with me and be my girl" earned him.
Not even a slap in the face. He would have loved to suffer that distaste. Compared to the silent treatment it’s like a second date. He got scratched before even stepping up to the plate.
No explanation wasted is oh so more disgraceful. Hence this outburst from a poor sport looking to take his aggression out on anyone due to his love/hate.
Has found us two here. Tickling the ivory steady ready to splash this town in more red paint.
"DRAW!"
"Pew! Pew.........pew"
"Ms. Kim He he peed his pants."
"Your dead I win let’s go color in our coloring books again."
Every fool needs to get schooled up on the hard knock life of pre school politics. This ain’t the half of it.
FC4K
I started a move called Fistchallenge4kids, FC4K. I started it because so many children wanted to read to someone. I love when my grandbabies read to me. The part that touch my heart is that two of them have special needs and no patience. They are the youngest of four. I decided that children want to be acknowledge for the things they learn. Most parents don't have time to listen to them read or help them with their homework. Fistchallenge4kids not only award them but they also motivate the child to get the parent involved and they are both rewarded. I started this in 2016 and locally the children love it. I reward them with my very own children's books and t-shirts. When the Pandemic hit my funds dropped and I could do much but send t-shirts and books to a couple of homeless shelters. One day it will be done worldwide for generations. I will never stop trying to make children smile worldwide.
the slithery trail
i leave a mess , as i drag ,
silvery foam remains,
luminescent it seems,
but trashy gunk it is.
i extrude more from pores,
to fend off the larger carnivores,
to entrap the unfortunate,
my sneaky tendrils curl ,
but an organism,
with even a minimal will to live,
breaks free,
even without a nervous system.
stink does not last, praise be,
and so this vileness that you feel,
shall pass soon.
neither your olfactory,
nor a visual cortex,
need retain this.
but this foam i secreat is all i can.
it is mostly patterned filth ,
but it lubricates my underbelly,
and allows me passage,
through the terrain,
so for my best attribute,
as you request,
i express a vile substance ,
that reduces friction as i move.
divine wonder
sometimes she steps off the world
and notices something
or nothing, anything that flickers
in the pit of her heart
and tells her
everything is everything is everything
the leaves bud and grow and die and fall
the earth swallows
and the sky is filled with trailing dreams
that stick in your hair
even if you don't notice
and sometimes
she notices
