HALLOWEEN
Human limbs/fingers all splayed
About the small dark cave
Loud buzzing heard coming from
Lit up spaces in the walls
Oho here come the fireflies
Watch out for their deathly lucibufagins
Everyone in the village knows
Especially the children that
Never smile when fireflies glow!
#HALLOWEEN.

Ghost Stories at 4 PM
The sun is shining sickeningly bright.
The world is covered in holy light.
Under this sacred place, you find,
A being that puts everything behind.
Their life, their home, their family too
A spooky being, their vocabulary, boo!
Do not fear, do not fret
For, my dear, you would be next.
is this a dream?
the day was dark and the night burned
the wind spread fire and the sun cried
the clouds were the ghosts of dying stars
that would scream before they died.
the rain was hot and scorched the earth
but her core was frozen, icy, solid
the ghostly steam would sing a song
a reminiscent cacophony, a ballad
how uncomfortable it must be
to exist in such catastrophe
each star contained a memory
each day, farther from reality
Not Tonight
Little Ava squeezed her eyes tight.
not tonight...
not tonight...
She dove under the covers with fright.
Not tonight...
Not tonight...
From her closet came a red light.
Not tonight!
Not tonight!
A hand pulled the door open slight.
Not tonight!
Not tonight!
She took a breath. It'd be all right—
Nothing would happen—not tonight.
Not tonight...
Not tonight...
Please not tonight!
Don't kill me tonight!
But yet the creature devoured her in one bite.
Tonight.
Red Pumpkins
A season of mystery,
Where the monsters fear the people,
Those who scream,"Trick-or-treat!"
Houses become graveyards for decorations,
A night that our fears become a celebration,
There are various symbols for Hallows Eve,
Bats, ghosts, vampires, and pumpkins,
Most of them are orange,
But in one neighbourhood,
There was a house where the pumpkins were red,
Oozing and dripping crimson liquid down the porch as if they were dead,
At first they assumed it was food coloring,
Until Halloween arrived and the stench of death spread down the street,
Children kept away from the house but adults had their concerns,
So, they called the cops and learned that...
...It was just a prank!
They used pigs blood to scare the neighbours,
But as a consequence,
Their house got egged by the local teens later,
And that was the last year,
That red pumpkins would ever appear.
No lights, no problem
What's that in the street, a head?
What entails entrails, torn out by nails?
Play that Devil's chord, it's said,
Summon the thing with horns and scales.
Diabolus in Musica, the dominant 7th,
Goes from the 3rd to the 7th-flat;
Violating Commandments, first through tenth
To send us lemmings to Hell and back.
When tritone sounds, relegate treat as downbeat;
Reinstate Hallow's Eve forsaken dread.
Approach each door, unlit, in mortal deceit,
Ring the bell and show up dead.
G.G Allin Lives: The Fest, Halloween 2019
The rare crisp Florida night
The plaza crowd buzzes before the lonely stage
All patched in primitive stiches, gathered in black
Devils Lettuce rising in thick plumes
Loose groups in drunk conversation
I sit by one
One of several with the GG paraphernalia
"Knock Knock"
"Who's There?"
A dazed stare is the only response
Dazed but amused
An inside joke only his twisted state could understand
A woman beside him chuckles, sharing his warped vibrations
The stale air tingles
The moonless stars churn with the clouds
They dance in his eyes, a set of childish pupils
He stares through my receding forehead
Only stuck gears behind those sockets
His body drags behind him as the head swivels around my figure
A man pulling a rusted stiff bicycle brain across the sidewalk
Looking unblinking
Eyelid freckle, nose zit, fluttering split end, repeat
Moving the head to each place, not the eyes
"Your pupils are big, you look high."
He says this, not me
I redirect his attention to his backpatch
GG Allin; Big white sewed on letters to the frayed denim vest
Wrapped around in a tight circle, a bold insignia
Dusted and wrinkled with marsh dirt, sewn on loud
Enough to even make the late shit slinger proud
He makes no mention of it and takes out his billfold instead
"Big fan!"
A grey kitten within the clear card sleeve
"His name is GG Calin!"
I smile and nod
"Knock Knock"
"Who's there?"
The woman states the question
Their hysterical laughter dissipates in the monotone sea of voices
Lost to the cooling breeze
Churning with the skunk fog haze
Understood by no one
And yet they still holler out
A disjointed music
Forbidden Allure
He looked at me beyond the obvious, and I shivered amidst
The deepness of his eyes, so piercing and midnight blue,
Their intensity was nothing anyone would ever miss,
And I knew beyond any doubt, a new reckoning anew.
I felt the haunting of my soul and my eyes stung with tears,
I was both afraid and enticed beyond any measure I’d known
As he moved toward me, his purpose much too evidently clear,
I stood where I was, unmoving, lest the root of his impetus be sown.
The line of his mouth hardened, his blue eyes deepened to black,
Mesmerized, unable to move, I watched him draw ever nearer,
I felt the chill of his breath as he sighed, poised on the precipice of attack,
And an enlightenment of his motive became abundantly clearer.
Here was no simple mortal known to mankind amidst the dark,
But a creature, so wonderfully formed betwixt both it and the light.
He leaned closer to me, his beautiful mouth reaching its mark,
And I fell into him, not resisting that which was to be my plight.
I felt the thrill of his touch, the chill of his mouth as he imbibed
From me the blood that ran richly and so magnificently red,
And I knew that from this point evermore our worlds would collide
Into an unknown, unchangeable moment I neither feared nor did dread.
He lifted his coal black gaze, looking deeply into dazed eyes of green,
I fell and leaned into him, pleading and begging for still more despite
So strong was the unforgiveable need for the unknown and what I had seen
As I longed for his feast upon me to prolong with no need of respite.
Wonderful creature of darkness and light, mark me forever more
With your chilled touch and your stealthy lightness of foot,
Make me yours through this night and the truth of your lore,
My mind screamed, my heart beat, as the dark, unbidden thought took root.
A grimace of a smile deliberately formed upon his handsome visage
As he stepped back and gave me a look of pure longing so vivid
My heart skipped a beat and felt the immensity of the privilege,
And then he quietly withdrew, and the need for him steadily lifted.
As he disappeared into the liquid ink of the midnight evening,
I looked about and slowly returned to myself, though amazed and in wonder
With thoughts anew at what I’d just seen despite knowing it was deceiving,
And my heart and mind split, and my complete being burst asunder.
And now in the stillness and dark of night, many years beyond that first time,
I feel the blue of his piercing eyes, the chill of his breath, the touch of his
mouth,
And I long for he who invaded midnight while into my heart he did climb,
Creating a vortex of need within, as forever, my love for any other was doused.
