Proser Nomination
@OleanderPlume1, of course. For one, she is a gifted writer. She is also very witty, and good wit usually makes an interview stand out a bit more or at the very least, make it a bit more interesting.
It also helps that she is very nice (most of the time). But, whatever you do, do not mention 'chickens'!
@LeaLu
I think I would nominate @LeaLu. She's been a member for about the same time as me, and her poems and stories strike right to the heart. They're the horrible and beautiful truth of this world expressed through lyrical and blunt words. She's a talented writer but a bit shy to post, so I think that some confidence would do her good. She is capable of evaluating her own work unbiasedly and realistically, and that makes her pieces all the better.
She's also a good friend, and I thought, "Why not nominate such a hardworking writer that I love so dearly?"
Three Peas On a Prose.
The first person I thought of was @liv ... but right now she's not exactly in the right position for it.
Oh god liv, I'm so sorry.
So, another person I think would be interesting to know more about is @killjoy. I've been following her for a while and it makes me happy seeing how much she's grown :) ...
but I know nothing about her. How old are you? Where are you from? WHATS YOUR NAME EVEN?!?!? (Certainly it's not killjoy?!)
And if THAT doesn't work out, then do the oh so glorious @MaggieGreene. Do I need to explain that one?
Lightningstar
I'm nominating someone for her philosophical poems, which show the darker side of humanity in beautifully lyrical verses. She's a dedicated writer with an obvious passion for the art and writes as often as she is able. She is willing to post her writing for others to see and enjoy because she wants others to grow from what she writes, which I think is a true virtue. When I first saw this, I instantaneously thought of her. They say that you should go with your gut instinct, and so, even after more thought, I am. I nominate @lightningstar.
Friday Feature?
I'm a "challenge writer" I write more for these challenges than not (I often need the inspiration--kick,) but this was one I couldn't decide on so easily. A few of my first thoughts were already done, and the rest were hard to whittle to one.
Assuming there will be other opportunities to nominate someone, I chose the first one I'd like to put in the hat to be:
nonzerospin
I haven't been here very long and they were one of the first I followed, one of the first to follow back. I know I'm just one of 100+ but still, they take the time to like, to comment, to discuss and provoke conversation. On the prose side of things I find their writing style to be curiously interesting. Often thought provoking and a selectively twisted. Maybe the meaning, maybe the word choice, it's an adventure and I enjoy the read.
That said, if you haven't noticed, I don't even know if they're male or female-- even if the flower icon suggest a woman, I know men who like flowers too. :-p
If I can request a question to be asked, I'm most curious about the name "nonzerospin"
