Redemption is never too far away,

Redemption means no one is too far gone.

This quote showss that you shouldn't trust anyone too much because anyone can stab you in the back. However, it also shows that no one was born evil; life made them that way. Therefore, anyone, even the worst criminals can be redeemed because you can't fully lose the spark of good, it can only be dimmed and hidden; no one is pure evil.

"Stand for something or you will fall for anything."

I love this saying; aside from its obvious punniness, it really speaks to me...

Once upon a time, I didn't have many concerns, which I guess is normal for a child, but still. I was running through life, not caring about the world at-large or my place in it, aside from wanting to be famous.

But as I got older and life threw a few things my way, I came to care greatly about a lot of people and a lot of stuff. I came to stand for many somethings. And at the same time, I noticed that I was no longer giving in to peer pressure and allowing myself to be talked into or convinced of this or that. It didn't take me long to deduce that since I'd already made up my mind about some things, I wasn't able to fall prey to other ways of thinking about them...Mind you, I'm always up for listening to the "other side" and I may even change my mind on occasion, but I will not be suckered into things anymore, either.
