the deceiving sun

grazes clouds,

cool air

drapes along my shoulders,

a gust of wind

fluttering, dancing

throughout my hair

shivers down my spine

when will the sun stop lying?

exhale

the sort of chill that pinches your cheeks and bites your nose

blue sky deceiving

no clouds to coat us in warmth

shivering in our shoes

toes curl

breath fogs

Last week

We basked in seventy degrees

Uncharacteristic for fall

Today

we have bitter air, that

cold front barreled in

shifting fog to frost,

dropping feather light

snow

The weather is dark and cold it is scary and shivery. I wish to be cuddled in a blanket on the couch watching tv. I am not I'm cold waaaa!!!!!

Sunny with a side of clouds

But, despite the sun, it is freezing outside

I hate it when the cold is stubborn and won't rain or snow
