Solo exploration
I have someone in my family that doesn't like to fly. So, I drive them and it's ok.
I like going with because while they have to go do their thing, I plan out trips to stores I want to visit. I also plan out trips to museums and art galleries.
I plan trips to restaurants and then make itineraries that get me around those places at certain times when my family member gets done with work I go pick them up to go to where they want to go and then that's it.
So my advice to you, is to first research the place you are going and then find ways to go explore on your own or with someone YOU like and then get your ass out and live your life.
If it's a place like a resort, then just see what they have or spend time by a lake or ocean with a book you want to read and bring books you haven't read before - challenge yourself to find something new to do and do it.
You can do it, I hear you saying "I'm not going to do that!" But you should, a new book or drawing something new is a way to explore.
The only thing stopping you is you, dont let that happen.
Hope This Works
@Allyson,
I am sorry to hear this. It sounds like part of your summer is going to be spent how you don't want it to be spent! I have never had this happen to me and I am very sorry. But I have had to hang around people I don't like.
1. Annoy them
This may not sound like a good choice, but it works for me. Especially on people that are younger than me. Then next time, when you have to go with them, they won't want you too.
2. You don't need to loose wait
Yeah, you are probably about to stop following me, but, listen. God made you the way you are and, trust me, I weigh what I think is a ton, but the doctor said I weigh a lot less than normal kids my age.
3. If you are really bent on losing weight, take the time to walk everyday, get a place at a gym and use a treadmill or go running.
4. For the sane part, just write
I know you don't have the time to write, but when you're out at the store, waiting in line to the checkout, just imagine a scene that you want in your book. Or mentally type it. Yeah, weird, but it works for me.
5. I will pray for you
Prayer actually works. Trust me. I will pray that you have a good time, that you will get your book done, that nothing bad will happen, that God will help you get fit, and that He'll help you to stay sane.
Hope this helped. I really do.
Don’t Stress
I know how that feels, just don't think about hating the people, and try to get along with them. Maybe you actually like them and you do not know it. Think about good things and don't focus on the bad, everything will be all right, you are just thinking of the worst possible outcome. For the book, take your time, if you rush the words, they won't sound right ,and it will put even more stress on you, and take more time away, and believe me, I know from personal experience at school. Do fun things and try not to stress about it, writer's block will go away. Eating healthy, exercise, and a regular routine will help with the weight problem. Just don't worry, have fun and live life to the fullest. You will be okay.
