Merrylore Academy of Sorcery
"Congratulations, incoming students, on your admittance to the prestigious Merrylore Academy of Sorcery. I am professor Ziziff, and will serve as your academic advisor for the duration of your four years here at Merrylore.
"For the first semester your core classes have already been selected. They are Curse Creating, Magic Rituals, Alchemy, Herbalism, and Magic Law. At the start of the second semester, you may declare your specialty in one of the four main fields of sorcery, namely, Healing, Necromancy, Arcane Magic, and Elemental Bending.
"I suggest you make haste to the school store and procure your necessary books and materials as soon as possible. I'm quite certain that copies of Abidalf's Advance Guide to Runes are especially scarce. Good luck to you, students, and throughout your endeavors here, I hope you all keep the Merrylore motto close to your hearts: sow knowledge; reap wisdom."
ERINDALE: The west side/part of the flying academy.
Professor Guhynei: Alright class. We'll be heading to the library today. Please, do not wander off into unauthorized sections, areas or corridors.
With that brief instruction and words the class of magical creatures led by the year one guiding introductor, Professor Guhynei, were off to the Erindale library located at the west corner of the grand flying academy.
The newly fresh students had no idea of what to expect in the first week of school. They were ready to begin a new journey far away from home (and their parents). No need to worry about whether they needed to all sit together for breakfast at the family dining table. Each one of the students parents loved spending time with their family. If they could they would have stayed with them during the starting week of school. But the instrictors at Erindale had to beg and plead with them to head back home. And that their children were in great care and under the protection of the spirit guardians.
Saeriu: Professor...uh..why are we going to the library first? I thought that that would be one of the last places to tour at the end of the week.
The Professor turned around and faced his student.
Professor Guhynei: What´s your name young sir?
Saeriu: I'm Saeriu, of the Elvin lands.
Professor Guhynei: Then you must know the value of books. Your folk have written a countless number of literature collections & enchantment series.
Saeriu: (bows head) I didn't mean to disrespect the grand elders. I just assumed that the library was going to be the final section to visit.
Professor Guhynei: No need to apologize. It's good to ask questions. Now are there any more questions before we carry on.
The class moved with purpose. Their tour guide led them past a number of hallways and classrooms. They walked past the cafeteria that seemed to be full of food to feed an entire army of ogres. They also strolled through the whistling flower garden. Right before they were nearby the library, they tiptoed past the slumbering baby rocks.
Professor Guhynei: We have arrived at the library. This is where the real tour begins.
Saeriu looked around the entire library hall. The walls all seemed to have different seasons on them. One area of the wall was in the season of spring, and another was experiencing the fun of the summer sun. Then the other two sides were that of autumn/fall, and the other the chills of winter.
What a strange design of a library. The students were excited to explore other parts of the Erindale Library.
Creox: Saeriu, do you think you can locate your grand elders books here?
Saeriu: I think I can Creox. I hope so. Otherwise, they'll never let me ever work with them if I can't even recognize or locate their books or works.
All the students went to explore the rest of the library on their own. Their Professor stayed at the front desk chatting with his long time crush Miss Tyrroq, the fairy bookkeeper and librarian.
Meanwhile, Creox was delighted to finally get to be alone with Saeriu. They were both from the Elvin lands. But Creox was not trained as much in the Elvin ways as Saeriu. She was not a full elf, and because of that she could not fully receive the full Elf training. That didn't change her love for being an elf in any way. She loved it so much that she even decided to make a promise to Saeriu that she would always be an elf, come what may.
Saeriu searched and scanned the library for the section of books and works by the grand Elvins. He stumbled across a shelf that was near the autumn wall area. The leaves on the wall dropped to the ground. This made Saeriu kinda feel uneasy. It felt like there was a hidden or strong force pulling him towards that area. When he got to the grand Elvin books aisle, he noticed that he was able to tell almost all the books apart. Some looked like the ones he had read and was tested on in his Elvin training. There was one book that seemed to be bouncing off the shelf. Saeriu was puzzled. Was he seeing things? Maybe, it was a ghost toying with the library books.
Creox tapped Saeriu on his left shoulder. He flinched.
Saeriu: Creox! You don't just go tapping people anyhow.
Creox: Hey, I didn't mean to scare you. And here I thought that you were invincible.
Saeriu looked back at the book shelf and all the books were all in place. Not one was moving or bouncing at all.
Aftet what seemed like only a few seconds, the students were all back in one large group and their tour was over.

Later in the night.....
Derwu: (sigh) The kid was really close to unlocking the book of the mystical arts and Elvin practice.
Haypth: No kidding. Anyway, next time when he's back in the library, we shall make sure that the book will be in his hands.
The two book spirits laughed as the last leaves in the fall section fell slowly to the library's floor in the wall.
