I See Your Soul
Sometimes I wish I didn’t see your soul, it would be easier that way. I would then see things for their reality and not for their potential.
If I could just close my eyes to your soul, then I wouldn’t see all of your greatness. I wouldn’t see the compassion that radiates from your core. Or the soft edges that dance around your aura; luring me in like a magic spell, making me love you more and more each day.
Did you know I see your soul?
I Have Met A Goddess
I have met a goddess.
Can you claim the same?
She danced, once, in rivers and swayed to a rhythm that
Only she could name.
I have met a goddess
Who, with her heav’nly sight,
Could beckon the raging of stormfronts to cease, that the
Sun might share its light.
I have met a goddess.
Distant was her gaze,
And so far removed from the vices of man that she
Could not run away.
I have met a goddess
Once only, long ago;
Then deities learned not to venture so near, and she…
Well.
She was the last to know.
Trust that was a mis
Just like me to have things going just oh so swell. Leaning on another persons ability for something to get done. Looks like everything is in place
Nothing to sweat here all the bases have been covered. Even have a back up plan. How can anything go wrong? This whole idea is going to be a roaring success.
Did I mention most if this depends on the act of carrying it all out is on someone else and not me? So there you have it Trust.
Then when the day finally arrives for the big reveal nothing goes right. Not even the reservation was made. Good thing I all ready knew nobody else could do it but me. Because I learned early on can't trust No body for anything. When you do put your trust into someone else it is always a mis.
Its easier to just put trust in yourself . if its important to you it best not to give it away
