Baby Bear [ʕ◉ᴥ◉ʔ]
As I look at my screen,
I remember the crack that used to stream across it like stripes on a zebra
Before I bought a new computer.
Then,
I remember the crack that used to blemish the handsome face of the brown-eyed boy that was once upon my wallpaper
Before I bought a new phone.
Then,
I remember the crack that used to flash across the lens of my shiny purple nikon
Before I bought a new camera.
Then,
I remember all the other various objects of mine that have been broken throughout the years by Goldilocks of all genders, ages, shapes, sizes, and colors.
But, as Baby Bear, all I can do is smile, say, “that’s okay”, pull out my wallet, and look to eBay through my shattered screen.

As I look at my screen I see a sad little cat thing asking for a hug from somebody taller than itself. Hoping to be lifted and held close to the person's heart, to hear the warmth and love that they wish to give. Keeping the weird little cat thing as a best friend and a cuddle buddy. They will change the world with their love.

As I look at my screen... I vow inwardly... I'm going to put down this damn phone the next minute.
And I swipe.
I swipe again.. And again..
When my eyes whip back to the time.. I see I've wasted another fifteen minutes of my precious life on searching.. The net.. For INSPIRATION!
I float in indecision as I cross numerous memes.. very lame of course. I cross a dozen news reports.. weather forecast.. political tit bits... glazy outfits.. some trailers of those new movies that just pop in...
I groan and I make a futile promise once again.. "This time I'm surely gonna make it".. Just "FIVE" minutes more.
And yet again.. I fail to keep the promise.......

This is one of the most common scenarios in today's teen. They can't stay away from their digital screens and no amount of screaming can get them off their mobile phones, laptops, or computers.
Isn't it surprising, that nature is waiting outside with the inspiration of the world awaiting in her wide arms.. for the butterflies of tomorrow!
And yet you see? They are modern butterflies.. They don't like flying in the open air or touching the blossoms.. They just like to view it through their mobile screens..
How long will their wings persist?
