....."I'm just going to give our viewers a quick run-through of what items poor families in America have. Ninety-nine percent of them have a refrigerator...." This was part of a story that was trying to say poor people really aren't poor. Look they have a refrigerator. I was more astonished of the 1% that does not. Not to mention the majority of the poor either live in subsidized housing or apartments that come with refrigerators.
Really?
Some of the most recent scientific theories put forward ideas and concepts that simply beggar belief.
For me, perhaps the most mind boggling of all is the theory of multiple dimensions that exist far in excess of our current knowledge.
Can you ever begin to imagine that beyond our three dimensional world, there are other more complex dimensions?
I cannot conceive of even a fourth dimension - how dumb am I? But, and this is a HUGE but, these theories pale into total insignificance when compared to what I heard on an astronomy tv show several weeks ago.
I was bowled for six, when a noted Professor intimated the existence of multiple realities!
So there are millions of other universes out there somewhere with millions of other Earths, and millions of other me's and you's and millions of other Prose Apps!
I need stiff drink.
