It's funny

How in a room full of people

You can be totally

Alone

It's ironic

How even when you are shouting

Your voice

Goes unheard

It's insane

How you can be in so much pain

Yet still flash a smile

Through out the day

It's actually quite funny

Don't you think

How I'm right in front of you

Yet you can't see me

It is all just

Blocked by day

Overflowing by night

If only I had a way

To write down every story plot

I have dreamt up at night

Maybe then my morning writes

Wouldn't seem so cruel

Love is always described

As beautiful and wonderful

In those fairy tales

So why

Does it hurt me

So much?

Coming together in a place

where time and reality

lose all meaning

Finding refuge in

each other's mind

Spilling our thoughts

like we spill ink

Feeding off each other's art

Quenching our thirst

with something strong

United as one

Where these memories

will forever be etched in ink
