Instagram: The App of the Season

Let's be real here, Christmas is about presents. Buying presents, receiving presents, showing off presents: that's the true holiday spirit (no matter what the whos in Whoville might say). This makes Instagram the perfect app for the season. Not only can you shop for presents right on the app, you can take pictures of your families day of gift giving after you've received them! Whether its a permanent post of your son's new bike, a short-lived story of your friend's white elephant party, or a video of the cool new drone your dad bought, there's room for everyone to celebrate on Christmas Day. Even if you're not quite as cynical as me about the holidays, those videos could also be of your choir caroling, your husband hanging up lights, or your family's matching red and green pajamas-- all with Mariah Carey or Micheal Buble playing in the background.
