A Serious Thing That Needs To Be Talked About
(WARNINGS: TOPICS SOME MAY NOT AGREE WITH)
So, I was having a talk with @Toebeans and I've realized something that's a bit serious that no one has talked about. So, today, let's talk about how school systems are fucked and how minors don't get the liberty of having rights thanks to society. Starting off with schools, a school is litterally a prison or can sometimes be worse.
Ex.
Requires a federal crime for attendance:
Schools: No Prisons: Yes
Stripped of Freedom and Dignity:
Schools: Yes Prisons: Yes
Forced Conformaty:
Schools: Yes Prisons: Yes
Dicipline for Non-Conformaty:
Schools: Yes Prisons: Yes
Rules That Must Go Unquestioned:
Schools: Yes Prisons: Yes
This may litterally seem like I am just being a spoiled brat, but if you think about it. I don't have a choice. Others do not have a choice. We are being forced to do something that isn't something we'd like to do. Not to mention that the students that go to school are suffering because of it. Whether it's the amount of sleep or the fact that some have mental dissabilities due to the amount of stress that is put on our shoulders. And for what? Nothing. Absolutly nothing. You don't take anything helpful away from this. Nothing. It's bullshit. This could be me just being bias but I see nothing helpful about school. It only enforced micromanegment and a number of otherthings. How do you think adults would think if they couldn't talk to their co-workers or were constentently micormanaged? Probably flip their shit and quit. But we can't do that, even though we didn't do anything wrong in the first place.
Next topic, Minors rights have taken away, not by the law, but by society. A lot of minors aren't allowed to have privacy or make their own decisions. All because they haven't been alive for a certain amount of time. Something that they cannot control. Just like, and yes I'm going to bring this up, women and people of color use to. I am really about to get shunned for this but this is the same fucking concept. It really is. We aren't allowed to human rights because of our age, something that can't be controled. Not to mention that we have them on pen and paper. How ironic...
Anyways I'll stop taking up your time. Just... sit on this okay? I'm a bit tired of my concerns being over looked by people.
(P.S: This doesn't mean I have anything against Adults or Teachers! I still do have respect for the people that deserve it!)
