First period,

the commence of the day.

Hallways, School bells, Writing, Calculating, Thinking,

about the lessons of the day.

Enlighten,

each minute, each hour, each day counts to my future.

Busy,

much to do always, those who have the will, nothing else matters.

Strive,

I will succeed.

you'll feel it in your heart, mind, and soul.

if it really is love, it will be natural, so simply my sweet friend,

look them in the eye and with a grand smile.

confess.

it is better to know, than to never know.

do it before it's too late.

Perfect young girl with honor roll,

this devasted life slapped her across the face,

plummenting her to the ground.

All hope is lost,

thought she was in love but,

babygirl learned it was lust and a sin.

Lifes work is school work,

since the moment she walked into her first classroom,

in 2006.

17 years young,

found out what a real guy is,

to be rejected because she did not speak up sooner.

he said to her,

"if you would have told me sooner, I would have said yes".

that was what hurt the most like a slice into her heart.

A few gentle tears left her face,

remincing how she was trying to change,

to become who she is suppose to be.

she cried her pain away,

she wasn't ready for love before,

she asked for forgiveness for not being ready sooner.

but now she was.

but now she was rejected.

All illusions with her imperfect dream, gone.

Oh Darling, what a dull life it would be without imagination.

Poetry is a colorful form of expression through words that project your mind.

Without poetry my dear friend, I would be nothing but a dull spirit, it is what excites me and brings me out of the dull reality we are forced to take part in. Day in and day out, wishing to escape but how? only those who love the power of words understand, but oh dear friend, it doesn`t have to make sense, and that, is what makes it beautiful.
