Critical Review Contest!
As a writing community, sometimes the best way we can improve our own writing is to read and review each other's work - and to that end, I am offering a $30 prize to the most helpful review on my latest novella!
The book is called Episodic Sleep Disorders, and it is a creepy historical mystery investigating a legendary but true series of werewolf attacks in France. It is less than 120 pages, and available on Amazon for $1, but you can get the book for free if you buy it between Friday, August 23rd and Tuesday, August 27th! Not only is it a free book, but you stand to win $30 for your review! GETTING PAID TO READ, Y'ALL!
Here are the rules:
1. Go to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SM95JR6 and get the book.
2. Read it, and if you sincerely enjoy it, feel free to leave a public review on Amazon (The public review is not a requirement). Please do not leave any insulting comments on Amazon - I think we can encourage and help each other in this community.
3. Write a constructive review here in this Prose Challenge. Tell me what you liked or didn't like, tell me what was well-written or horribly-written, offer me some suggestions for improvement. There is no minimum length for the review, and you don't even need to read the entire book - but of course, you stand a better chance of winning if you do.
4. DON'T HOLD BACK! I will not be offended or insulted by any criticism of my writing - I am sincerely trying to improve! But try to be constructive - that's how I will choose the winner!
I will choose the most helpful review after 3 weeks and award the prize! Your critical reviews will be judged based upon your comprehension of the book and your thoughtful feedback, not on how flattering you write it (but of course, it helps if you mingle good comments among the criticism).
Even if you don't win the prize, hopefully you will have enjoyed a book that you didn't have to pay for! Thanks for participating!

One-Handed Sentences
"In my opinion, you look jumpy."
This sentence can be typed entirely with the right hand, without moving it out of position on your keyboard. Can you type a longer (or funnier) sentence with one hand, without moving your fingers across the invisible center line?
Left-hand characters: 12345$ qwert asdfg zxcvb
Right-hand characters: 67890 () yuiop hjkl;' nm,.?
This is a highly technical challenge ;) Good luck!
In order to reach the 15-word minimum, feel free to type "cats" (a left-handed word) or "puppy" (a right-handed word)!

Trespassing
Sneaking into a covert government facility, breaking and entering into a drug dealer's house, exploring an abandoned (possibly haunted) mansion... maybe even illegally crossing the border?
Tell a short tale about trespassing where it's not allowed, and build some thrilling suspense about the possibility of getting caught.
Fiction (probably) but possibly non-fiction (if you have snuck into your neighbor's house before). Prose, please.
If you write "CRITIQUE REQUESTED" at the end, I will provide my best constructive criticism. Hopefully, other readers and contributors will also provide feedback - that's what it's all about, isn't it?
