Where Were You: 20 years later.
September 11, 2001. It was a day the world never forgot. One of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil was committed and what happened afterward changed the country forever. The World Trade Center collapsed, thousands of innocent lives were taken, and a nation wept for the families of the fallen. For many of us we still remember that day and what we were doing, how we felt at the time. With the 20th Anniversary coming up I would like for all of you to share your stories of 9/11. Where were you on that day? What do you remember? Share your emotions of that time. Reflect on that event. And then tell us how you feel today.
This challenge is dedicated to the victims and their families from that attack and the many brave police and firemen who risked their lives to save so many.

April 28th is National Poetry Reading Day
The object is to record a poem by a favorite poet you have. This could be Maya Angelou, Edgar Allen Poe, E.E. Cummings, Walt Whitman, William Shakespeare, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Robert Frost, Mark Twain, Emily Dickinson, and T.S. Eliot to mention a few, or one of your own favorite poets. Use this link to record the poem and underneath it, have the poem in its entirety. https://voicespice.com/
If you have another outlet to record and post here that is fine. Make sure you tag me in the comment box as: @Danceinsilence. The winner will receive The Best Spoken Word Poem Award. And for the first time, I will also have 2 Honorable Mention certificates to hand out (well, email that is). To see how your set up should look like, I will start this off so check out my post. It does not have to look exactly like mine though.

There is one side to everything and those with two have it twice.
Have a one-sided conversation with me. It's a Monarchy based on how interesting/engaging/compelling/witty/humorous/whatever your goal is as long as it's executed exceptionally. You can do it as a stream of consciousness piece, poetry, an excerpt from a story, or any style you'd like as long as it's giving the contents of a one-sided conversation, so anything you write, I'm reading as one-sided dialogue. I really want to hear you/your character, so I'm going to raise the word limit on this one. If it's long, I expect it to be worth it. I know you'll be great and I can't wait to read what you come up with. Go :)

Kids say the darndest things! According to my son, you can buy ten million dollars at the store for one low, low price of fifty bucks!
Just before bedtime tonight, my four year old son told me I could go to the store and buy ten million dollars for fifty bucks. That's not a bad deal! What are some of the funniest things you have heard children say?
