I loved him,

He loved me.

Or at least

That's what I thought.

We were perfect

Always together

Sweaty nights 

Of passion.

We'd been

Lovers for years

I thought

He might propose.

But I guess

He didn't care.

Because I saw 

Them together.

He was kissing her-

Smiling

Arms around shoulders.

Plus I saw them fucking.

How could he do that?

My heart was shattered.

Never again would I trust-

Not in another man.

And so years of love

Were forgotten

In a minute

Of hatred.
