my heart

my heart is too big for my body 

I take things to heart 

and fall apart 

I think with my heart 

not with my brain 

My heart is wide enough to fit 

the whole world in it 

My heart has many cracks 

it  constricts in pain

My heart is weak 

and I know this 

but I keep loving anyway

this why I keep getting hurt 

because I give too much 

because I open my heart wide 

But I am closing it up 

because it needs to heal 

and I never give it enough time to heal
